Northside Elementary School Outreach
We have many good ways in which our church serves Northside Elementary. However, we have longed for more Gospel-centered ways to engage students.
On Sunday, August 30th, immediately following worship, there will be a lunch-and-learn with a local missionary from Crossroads Kids Club. If you are interested in supporting a Gospel-oriented after-school program, please register online to express your interest.
Missionary Support Mission Trip
Would you be interested in travelling to support an IMB missionary training event in Greece? Josh McKeown has asked us to provide a team of six people. Some will provide conference leadership, while the majority will serve in childcare. We will be in a remote, non-touristy area, where we will live 24/7 with the missionary families. It will truly be an immersive experience.
The cost estimate is around $2,000, which includes everything except souvenirs or tourist-oriented activities.
A deposit of $500 will be due by September 1, with the remainder due by December 1. Interested parties will also receive information about our international missions scholarship to help with your planning.
Puerto Rico Mission Trip
Would you be interested in serving in Puerto Rico next July, engaging in disaster recovery, poverty relief, and community outreach?
This is a family-friendly (ages 13 and above) mission trip sponsored by the North American Mission Board and Send Relief. Teams will work during the day with worship, devotions, and team-building experiences in the evening.
We have room for up to 15 people. Cost is $750 + airfare. To secure a spot, a $50 deposit is required by October 4. A second deposit of $550 is due by December 15, with the final amount due by February 15.
